SAV Mission Statement

SAV is a joint programme bringing together the
Swiss
management expertise and the
AIT
post-graduate education experience to contribute to
Vietnam’s
economic reform.
- Started in early 1993 and funded by Switzerland, the programme has the following goals:
+ To strengthen business administration education at the selected partner universities
+ To upgrade the knowledge and expertise of business
executives.
- The programme also offers seminars, workshops and
consultancy to business executives in enterprises and companies.
- It is to institutionalise the development of Business Administration Education at Vietnamese Universities and establish permanent research and executive development programmes in Vietnam.
- The SAV's website publishes its academic and practical knowledge of MBA education and Executive training programme in Vietnam. A number of resources such as
Lecture notes, Case studies, Training Packages, Glossary, MBA thesis, English Test
and
Guide for Study Abroad, Links
with other universities and library network,
Faculty and Trainers Database
can also be found on the website.

SAV will organize three international conferences in Business Administration Education. The first was held on Sep 12 – 14, 2001 in Ho Chi Minh City (see proceedings). The second one was held
on 10-12 September 2003 in Hanoi (www.hut-fem.edu.vn)
and a third one is scheduled for the 7th-9th September 2005 in Ho Chi Minh City. Information about the proceedings of the first conference and call for papers for the third Conference can be found at the
